PRICING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You can sign up for the Flex plan directly through our website, please contact sales for all other plan types.
For these plans Apptopia accepts credit cards and will automatically charge your credit card monthly, quarterly or yearly, depending upon which Paid Subscription you select. Should you work with one of our sales reps and negotiate a custom plan, the billing period for your plan will be communicated and visible to you at the time of purchase.
If any fee is not paid in a timely manner, or Apptopia is unable to process your transaction using the credit card information provided, Apptopia reserves the right to revoke access to your Apptopia account and content.
If you do not bring your Apptopia balance current within fourteen (14) days after Apptopia provides you with notification that your account is in arrears, Apptopia reserves the right to block or shut down your account completely.
Unless otherwise specified in an Apptopia Sales Proposal, (i) Services are purchased as user subscriptions and may be accessed by no more than the specified number of users, (ii) additional user subscriptions may be added at any time by contacting a sales rep or by emailing humans@apptopia.com. User subscriptions are fore designated users only and cannot be shared or used by more than one user. They may however be reassigned to new users replacing former users who no longer require on-going use of Apptopia’s services.
The fees for your Paid Subscription will be billed from the date you subscribe to a paid plan and on each monthly, quarterly, or yearly renewal thereafter unless and until you cancel your account. You can at any time click on the “Billing” in your Account Section or User dropdown to see the commencement date and your next billing date. Apptopia will automatically bill your credit card each month, quarter, or year on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your Subscription.
In the event your Paid Subscription began on a day not contained in a given month or year, Apptopia will bill your credit card on the last day of such month or year.
For example, if your Paid Subscription began on January 31st, February 28th is the next time your credit card would be billed. You acknowledge that the amount billed each month or year may vary for reasons that include, differing amounts due to promotional offers, differing amounts due to changes in your account, or changes in the amount of applicable sales tax, and you authorize us to charge your credit card for such varying amounts. Apptopia may also periodically authorize your credit card in anticipation of account or related charges. All fees and charges are nonrefundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.
Apptopia may change the fees and charges in effect, or add new fees and charges from time to time, but we will give you advance notice of these changes by email. If you want to use a different credit card or if there is a change in your credit card validity or expiration date, you may edit your information by accessing your “Billing” page. If your credit card reaches its expiration date, your continued use of Apptopia constitutes your authorization for us to continue billing that credit card and you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information and payment information current and updated.
Our flex plan is different from other plans as the price / monthly fee paid correlates directly with the # of apps which you subscribe to at any given time. The base subscription price is $49.99 for 5 apps, and you can then either add 1 app at a time at $14.99 per app, or you can purchase a bundle of 10 apps at a time for $99.99
After your initial purchase / flex plan subscription you can add on apps at any time. As outlined previously you can do this 1 at a time, in bundles of 10, or some combination of the two. It is important to note that when you are adding on apps mid month / billing period you are committing to pay for that app for [The Partial Period] + [One Full Billing Cycle]. Lets take an example:
Last Billing Date = February 1st
Add On Purchase Date = February 15th
Hence you are committing to the Add On apps you purchased on February 15th, until March 31st. February 15th - February 28th = The Partial Period, and March 1st to March 31st = One Full Billing Cycle.
You will only pay a prorated fee at the time of purchase for The Partial Period, and then would be charged the full monthly fee at your next billing cycle (i.e. March 1st, in the example above).
One of the benefits Apptopia offers in our Flex Plan is the ability to replace your apps every 30 days. This means that exactly 30 days after your initial purchase of App A, you can change out App A, and get data on any other app you want. You can replace / change this app as many times as you want throughout your subscription as long as its at least 30 days between each change. There are no penalties or fees associated with changing apps. This is courtesy / benefit Apptopia offers to all Flex Users.
The general rule of thumb here is that you are committing to a minimum of one full payment period. Which means that apps purchased as part of your initial purchase (or within 24 hours of that) are eligible to be cancelled at the end of that first period. When you are purchasing an add on (as outlined above), those apps will be eligible to be cancelled at the end of their first full billing period (which is equal to the partial period + one full billing period).
Flex Plans must have a minimum of 5 apps in their account, and hence you can not individually cancel more than “X-5”, where X = the total number of apps you are subscribed to. If you wish to cancel more than this, you will be required to cancel your entire Flex Subscription. You can do this in the “Subscription” section of your account.
Note, you can schedule your apps to be cancelled at any time, and cancellation will take effect on the last day you have pre-paid for (i.e. at the end of the cycle).
Your Apptopia Paid Subscription will continue in effect unless and until you Cancel your Paid Subscription, deactivate your account or we terminate it. You must cancel your Paid Subscription before it renews each month, quarter or year in order to avoid billing of the next term’s fees to your credit card. Apptopia will bill the monthly, quarterly or yearly fees associated with your Paid Subscription to the credit card you provide to us during registration (or to a different credit card if you change your account information).
Apptopia’s Paid Subscriptions are prepaid and are non-refundable. APPTOPIA DOES NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL MONTHS OR YEARS. You may cancel your Paid Subscription at anytime, and cancellation will be effective at the end of your billing period. If you wish to cancel your Paid Subscription you may do so via your “Subscriptions” page or by emailing us at humans@apptopia.com. We will use the time stamp of the email to decide when the cancellation is to take place. In the event that you are on a Custom Plan or a plan which does not allow you to cancel through your Subscriptions Section, please email humans@apptopia.com and the time stamp of the email will be used to determine exactly when cancellation was submitted. Please note that you will not be issued a refund for the most recently (or any previously) charged monthly fees.
By upgrading to an Apptopia Paid Subscription and providing Apptopia with your payment account information, you hereby agree to these payment terms and conditions.
