Introducing the 'Polarsteps Trip Widget' — a virtual countdown to your next adventure!
Just add the widget to your home screen and you'll always know exactly many how many nights there are until you're on your way again.
Once the countdown is over and you're finally the on road, use the widget to easily and quickly add steps to your trip.
To place the widget, just tap and hold any empty spot on your home screen until your apps start to jiggle, then press the plus sign in the top-left corner of your screen.

Hi travelers! Big news — adding photos and videos to your trips is now a hundred times easier (maybe even a thousand). First of all, we now support iCloud shared albums, making it a lot easier for you to pinch all of your mate's awesome photos (with their permission, of course). On top of that, finding your own photos is simpler, with the ability to make specific searches — such as the date, location, or the subject of the photo. No more scrolling! - For travelers who have a lot of photos in their trips, the app will be faster and take less storage space on their phones
- We did some under-the-hood work on the synchronization process, which should be a bit faster now (though on slow or instable WiFi connections, it might still take a long time).
- While you are connected to a WiFi network and the app is open with your screen unlocked, the original versions of your photos are now uploaded to our servers. After they are uploaded, the size of your app will be reduced and soon you’ll be able to order an awesome printed photo album of your trip (coming Fall 2016).

In this version we fixed a problem for some users who could not synchronize all their photos because of a problem with the "Sync images over 3/4G" setting. From now on this should work properly.
