WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT BEHAVIORSNAP?
“Let me be the first to say that this is the tool I’ve been waiting for. As a school psychologist this app has already helped me collect valuable data on student behavior. The charts are perfect, the user interface is easy and intuitive, and the design is sleek and modern.” - Eric W., School Psychologist
“BehaviorSnap gives a great framework for what types of observations we should be doing. It’s more scientific and much easier than how we have been conducting observations. We are now spending more time doing our jobs than managing our materials.” - Matt G., School Psychologist
“Going from doing pencil and paper observations to using this tool is like the difference between a dinosaur and a space rocket! This app has really helped me! It makes taking behavior data so much easier-- it’s well worth the cost.” - Rose D., Special Education Teacher
If you are drowning in paperwork and responsibilities, BehaviorSnap will help you win back your time.
FOR SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS, BY SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS
We are school psychologists ourselves and deal with all the same challenges you do. Systematic behavior observations are crucial but compiling the data with spreadsheets, so we could share the data in a presentable manner, sapped our attention from what we really wanted to be doing. We were sure there was a better way.
We created templates and put them in a simple to use app. With the press of a button, you can start a behavior observation and just as quickly collect and present data.
- Four separate observation tools in one to allow you to do Interval, ABC, Duration, and Frequency recordings.
- Customizable to meet the needs of individual students.
- Your input is saved for each student to ensure efficient and consistent data tracking.
- Data from each observation is compiled into meaningful and easy to read graphs.
- Reports can easily be emailed, printed, or attached to IEPs.
In no time time you'll have beautifully presented data. You'll feel more in control, more productive, and more secure in your job. And, you will open up time to work directly with kids which will give you greater overall satisfaction.
Download and gain access to an initial 12 observations and opportunity to tour the basic functionality of the top behavior observation tool on the market. If you love the app as much as we know you will, you will then have the option to choose a subscription that grants you unlimited use and access to exclusive features. Whether or not you choose to subscribe, you will always be able to view all of your observations and reports - the data you created will remain in your hands.
Don't waste another day frustrated by inferior methods of conducting observations. Retire your hand drawn templates and stopwatches. You owe it to yourself to try the method that will allow you to organize data at the tap of a screen.

Thanks to users who contacted us to provide more information about any issues. This update includes a fix for a bug related to including a peer in an Interval observation.
We can tell from our anonymous crash logs that some of you are seeing the app crash in Interval mode. We've never been able to reproduce that but looking at the code, we've added what we hope might be a fix. If you're one of these people and you're still having trouble with this update, please contact us via the website and let us know. Sorry for the trouble!
Thanks to folks who have sent in bug reports about our big 3.0 release. We hope you're enjoying BehaviorSnap on iPhone for the first time!
In this update:
- Fix for a bug where selecting 'every 5th interval' would crash the app.
The big news is that BehaviorSnap is now available on your iPhone! You can download the app at no additional cost using the same Apple ID used to purchase the app on your iPad. Happy Downloading!
What ELSE is new? We’ve changed the look of the app a bit, moved some buttons, and allowed for portrait or landscape orientation - all to align the iPad version with the new iPhone version. Plus, the iPad app now works in split screen mode. Also, we’ve added the following highly requested new editing features: the Undo button and the Rename button. Undo will remove the last action in an observation. Look for it at the top of each observation screen. Rename is available in Frequency and Duration observations, within the observation screen. It’s handy for being more (or less) specific, or for fixing those pesky typos.
We hope you enjoy BehaviorSnap v3.0 and please do leave us a rating or review in the App Store to let us know how we’re doing.

BehaviorSnap (formerly BehaviorLENS) is approaching its third anniversary. By far, our favorite thing over the past three years has been meeting our users and hearing people describe how our product has made their lives easier. We have also received a lot of feedback including some really great ideas to make the app even better. It has been encouraging to have our users be so involved in our growth and development. And, in the interest of progress, we want to announce some upcoming changes that will support the continued improvement of BehaviorSnap.
BehaviorSnap will undergo a change in its pricing structure. Instead of a one-time fee for use of the app, BehaviorSnap will be available to new users on a subscription-pricing basis. And, current users will be able to opt in to this pricing structure to receive valuable upgrades.
