New camera profile for DBPower HD027P

If it fails to connect on the first address, it toggles and attempts the second address. Timeouts have been reduce from 2 minutes to 10 seconds.

Motion on/off added for Amcrest drivers

Remote and local addresses support unique settings for RTSP and HTTP protocols. You can choose to use HTTPS on remote connections and HTTP locally.

Added many new camera models and drivers, check our website for the supported device list.

4.3.5Dec 04, 2015

iOS7 crashes resolved with Foscam HD driver.

Foscam SD card playback feature returns, new and improved!

We now support viewing SD card contents if the connection is on the local network (similar to the SD card manager found in the IE interface for Foscam). You can choose from folder content on the SD card and play back the AVI files found. Video scrubbing works by using the slider to move forward or backward in the video timeline. Delete AVI files from the card by swiping left on the table row and choosing "Delete" when prompted. V1 cameras with media ports and DDNS connections will fail to connect to the SD card manager.

4.3.4Nov 21, 2015

Foscam's SDK has been removed from our application, along with P2P support. We now use our original driver that was in the app prior to v4.3
A new SD card playback screen is under development. Foscam's SDK did not support proper playback and we are creating a workaround now that we have restored our old driver. We hope to have it available in v4.3.5

Numerous UI and driver issues resolved.
We have slightly modified the add/edit camera screen to highlight the network settings. In the future we will show two sets of this information so that you can add both local and remote addresses in a single camera record.

4.3.3Oct 30, 2015

Restored PTZ controls for public cameras
Fixed issue with "media port" switch being stuck for Foscam H.264 devices. You should only enable the media port switch if you have a 9821 V1 camera.
HTTPS support is back. We now use our own driver by default and only use the Foscam driver if P2P is enabled.
Fixed issue causing the red status bar (indicating that the app is still recording) when in background mode.

Updated Japanese translations for many screens. We wish to thank Takao N. for providing corrections!

4.3.2Oct 17, 2015

Fixes launch problems on iOS7

Fix for 3 camera view on iPad (now shows 2x2 grid again)

4.3Oct 15, 2015

Integration of the latest Foscam SDK, including P2P support.
Added support for Foscam Ambarella-based devices
Support for motion & IR on/off via new buttons
More camera models/drivers added
iOS9 compatible
Motion alerts now flash the active thumbnail or single camera view with a red frame when motion is detected
Improved reliability and performance
Thumbnails now keep up in real time by dropping frames as required. Larger numbers of onscreen thumbnails will reduce frame rate and smaller number of visible cameras will increase the frame rate for each. CPU usage is streamlined and consistent.

Please note:
Some bugs exist in the official Foscam SDK that were not issues in our previous driver (reverse engineered). This means that some features are broken until Foscam releases a fix. SD card playback is the most significant feature that is not working, along with support for V1 cameras (devices that use a custom media port different from the HTTP port). Contact tech@foscam.com to prioritize these fixes.

4.2.3Jun 12, 2015

Bluetooth and headphone audio playback fixed

Tenvis JPT3815W-HD support added with Tenvis Profile 6

Samsung iPolis driver now supports audio (via RTSP). H.264 and MPEG4 may also be used by adjusting the "channel #" field to choose a preconfigured stream (1-6).

Frame rate improvements for RTSP video sources

New public webcams! For users with private cameras you can update the public camera list manually by using the "share" icon on the lower toolbar. If you only use public webcams then the app will automatically update when a new version is downloaded.

4.2.2May 27, 2015

Fixes for some reported audio and connection issues

4.2.1May 25, 2015

Fixes for missing presets on some camera models
Improved add/edit camera screen to eliminate unused fields based on the camera profile
Frame rate & decoding improvements
General bug fixes and driver updates based on user feedback

4.2Apr 19, 2015

Various stability and performance improvements
Audio fixes for Foscam 89 series
Two way audio fixes for Foscam HD cameras
New toolbar icons (wrench icon is back for both the thumbnail screen and the single-camera view).
Reordering cameras within a group is now performed from the wrench icon instead of from the group selection table.

Full release notes are available on our website, or from within the app by tapping the wrench icon and selecting "Release Notes".

4.1.1Mar 03, 2015

TouchID fixes (returning from sleep/lock)

Audio improvements, streams no longer repeatedly toggle between playback and buffering states

Performance improvements on the thumbnail screen. UI is more responsive even with many cameras running at once.

Minor improvements to select camera profiles.

4.1Mar 02, 2015

TouchID support - when a PIN has been assigned, the app will prompt for TouchID first if your device supports it. You can still choose to enter a pin code if TouchID fails.

Foscam HD cameras now use hardware decoding on iOS8. Faster decoding, lower battery and CPU usage, less lag on the video stream (may take a few seconds to load initially). Crashes during long/overnight runs are eliminated as a result of this change.

Aspect ratio and image orientation fixes - Cameras using "Native Resolution" option now display properly and respect the chosen image orientation.

New option for reducing data usage on cellular networks (default is ON). If you have an unlimited data plan and can consume large amounts of data on cellular connections, disable this. It is found in the video section of the Application Settings menu.

SD card playback for the Foscam HD cameras has been redesigned. The screen also supports digital zoom (pinch gesture) and snapshots.

The search screen now includes a public/private camera selection switch. This allows you to restrict search results from one set of data or the other. It will no longer be possible to see both public and private cameras in the same list of results. This was scaring some users into thinking that they had made their cameras publicly available (not possible!)

4.0.4Jan 31, 2015

Foscam 98xx Profile now respects stream setting regardless of Wifi or cellular connection. We were using sub stream on cellular in 4.0.3 to reduce bandwidth and data plan usage for our customers.

Added two new options to the Application Settings menus under the Motion Detection section. You can now mute the audio from motion alerts, or mute the displayed red banner, or both.

Improved stability when editing camera settings and returning to the thumbnail screen.

Added a "Release Notes" menu item to the main screen overflow menu. Check here for important information about each app update.

Please check to see if the new RTSP port field is enabled for your cameras if they are failing to load. Some drivers now require this value to be filled in. Also check to make sure that the port you use for RTSP is open on your router if you are using separate HTTP and RTSP ports.

4.0.3Jan 15, 2015

New public cameras added. Users with private cameras in the database need to select "Update Public Cameras" from the main configuration menu. The database will automatically update if you do not have any private cameras in the app.

Canon and Axis PTZ slider controls are back.

Reduced single-camera view toolbar to single row of icons with a fully transparent background

Added temperature and lullaby menus for Fosbaby devices

Improved graphics (retina 3x) for iPhone 6/6+

Interactive notifications for motion and audio alerts

The app now fires an interactive local notification when it is moved to the background and network activity is continued. This will allow you to decide if the activity should continue or not.

Added main stream/sub stream selector for Foscam 98xx models, replaces the channel # field for this profile.

Added the ability to abort "scan network" before it is finished. You can now tap the screen and select a device before the 15 second timeout is complete.

Driver updates and audio improvements for many models

Added a new option in the single-camera view called "Mute Video". Use this to blank the screen during overnight runs. This keeps the screen dark and also prevents the app from crashing when decoding corrupted H.264 video streams. Best suited for baby monitor usage, Simply tap the screen to see the video again.

New RTSP field added to the add/edit camera screen. If your camera fails to connect after the update, please check to make sure that this field is properly populated if it is enabled.

SSL support for Axis RTSP profile.

Improved UI for the lock screen.

The world map view is improved. It now contains a help menu, allows you to select public or private cameras as a view filter, and also allows selection of individual cameras for locations that have more than one in the same GPS location.

Additional localization and translations completed. Some new screens are still English-only.

Performance improvements for H.264 and MPEG video sources.

Much more! Look for tutorials on eggmantechnologies.com over the next few weeks.
