About & Pics
CreatureVision allows you to see the world as other animals do. Explore your surroundings as a bumblebee, a frog or a cat might see. Even gain an understanding of what the world looks like to someone who's colorblind. A total of fourteen different creatures to choose from. Fine tune each effect and take snapshots, too!
Releasing new versions every over 1 year, on average.
Bug fixes and compatibility tweaks for iOS 12.2
In this version the user interface has been refreshed and simplified and several bugs squashed. I'd like to offer a special thanks to those out there who took the time and submitted bug reports!
User interface tweaks and other small issues.
First, thank you to all those who offered suggestions and support!
I've gathered all the feedback together and have tried to make CreatureVision even easier to use. Here are some highlights in this release:
* Less UI clutter
I'm always open to new ideas and other creature "visions". Feel free to send an email with comments and suggestions to email@example.com
This version features bug fixes primarily to resolve problems with devices running iOS 5.
[Sorry for the delay, folks. A fix for iOS 5 is in the works. Thank you all for your patience!]
Two new creatures have joined the menagerie!
* Reptiles: Our virtual reptile demonstrates "night vision" via your iDevice camera. Check it out in dim and low lit areas.
* Migratory Birds: Some species of migratory birds are known to be able to "see" the Earth's magnetic field. While we don't know for sure what they actually see, CreatureVision offers one interesting interpretation.
Several bugs were fixed, most notably with Bat Vision. Users of iPod Touch devices received no feedback when the virtual bat detected motion.
I hope you enjoy the new creatures. Still more to come...
