Version 2.1.28

Not only do we take care of a few niggly bugs but also introduce the "Edit Published Activity" feature that enables the instructors to edit Assignments, Quizzes, Polls, Resources, and Discussions after they've been published. We had to work hard to find a solution that works for both the instructors and the learners and while maintaining the realtime nature of interactions on Acadly.
As always, we continue on our journey to improve the teaching learning experience and it is a pleasure to have all of you along.

Version 2.1.25

New year, new features!
Firstly, we've made an improvement to one of Acadly's most loved features - one-tap attendance. Professors, we heard you. We're happy to introduce two new attendance statuses - "Excused" and "Late". You can assign these statuses to students using the manual editing mode.
Secondly, when you export data from Acadly, your students' first names and last names will now show up in two different columns, so that you can sort the results by first names or last names. This will help you sort results in the correct sequence before you upload them to your LMS.
Wish you all a fantastic 2019!

Version 2.1.17

Professors, we're sorry we Hulk-smashed what was an elegant manual editing flow for attendance, but your feedback has worked and we've improved!

Students, we have nothing exceptional to report, so we'll just say... I am Groot ("update for bug fixes and performance improvements" in English).

RIP Mr. Stan Lee. You will be missed!

Version 2.1.16

After months of scratching our weird beards and man-buns (not being sexist, it's a pop culture reference), we have taken another positive step towards perfecting our attendance solution. This update allows a Lecture In-charge to -
1. Update student attendance even after a lecture is over
2. Award class participation grades after a lecture is over

Outside of these two major changes, we made a few more changes to ensure a more efficient automatic attendance process and a very small number of bug fixes. Update today!

Hello again! We cleaned our iOS house before the semester begins and have made a few changes to make administration easier.
1. Course Administrators can now assign lecture in-charge and class assistants for many lectures in one go
2. Students can now change names upto 3 times. We had a reason for not allowing students to change their names upon signing up, but we don't exactly remember what it was... so... this update
3. We found bugs. We busted them

Aug 11

You commanded and we delivered!
1. Acadly's apps now allow you to configure notifications for each discussion thread. Want to follow a discussion? Just subscribe to the comments with a single tap. Getting too many notifications? Unsubscribe the same way

Version 2.0.3

A few bug fixes, that add to these new features of version 2.0

1. The revamped user interface is prettier, simpler, and more helpful
2. TeX Support, an in-built guide for using the math-expression editor
3. The course timeline is now super flexible, super editable, and intelligent enough to warn you if you're setting up a lecture at 3 AM instead of 3 PM. Timeline now also allows you define multiple dates for lectures in a single process flow
4. Set hard deadlines for activities: Activities like polls, quizzes, and assignments will have the option of setting a hard deadline after which no submissions will be accepted. This is in addition to allowing students to submit late responses and getting them marked as late. Give the students a reason to be punctual
5. Get deeper question-wise data insights for quizzes: For all the quizzes published after this release, get insights into how many times was each option picked
6. Incentivize participation, disincentivize silent consumption in Discussions: Make the comments on a discussion invisible to students unless they comment themselves first. A produce-first-consume-later strategy. Neat, isn’t it?
7. Moderate anonymous Queries: Miffed about misuse of anonymity? Enable moderation & all anonymous queries will be visible publicly only if you allow them to be.
8. New assignment submission type - URL: Collect blogs, files saved on the cloud or pretty much any web-hosted content as assignments
9. New kind of learning resource - Text Content: Create a rich text post and share it as a learning resource. Similar to a blog or an email
10. Record attendance for students who don’t check in to class
11. Sharing your syllabus just became easier: Upload your syllabus file directly
