Have trouble sleeping? Lumosity Labs invites you to join a global research study on our experimental sleep coaching program. By joining our research effort, you’ll contribute valuable insight and help us understand how we can improve people’s sleep.
As a study participant, you will track your sleep, follow a personalized sleep schedule, and implement new sleep habits over 6-8 weeks. This program involves making habit changes that can be difficult -- we are looking for participants who are willing to follow-through with the program.
ABOUT NOVA SLEEP COACH
Our experimental sleep program makes personalized sleep habit and schedule suggestions based on techniques found in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i). CBT-i techniques are used by sleep therapists to improve sleep quality, extend sleep duration, and decrease daytime sleepiness. We are conducting this controlled scientific research study to evaluate the impact of our mobile implementation of CBT-i techniques on sleep quality.

Just like we promised, you can now edit your sleep data in "Your Sleep" tab!
You can now view your detailed sleep data by night in "Your Sleep" tab! We are working on letting you edit your sleep data on the same page.
We continued to update the look of the app. Check it out on "Your Program" tab!
We also changed the chart to show Sleep Efficiency instead of time awake at night. Sleep Efficiency is the percentage of your night that you spent sleeping relative to the total amount of time you were in bed. We think this measure will make it easier to compare your sleep from night to night.
A new year, a new look! We refreshed our fonts, colors, and layouts across the app.
We also added a chart to your sleep tab so you can easily visualize how your sleep is changing throughout the program.
You can now adjust your sleep schedule at any time!

You can now view your personalized sleep schedule at any time and monitor your progress! The coach will also send you a reminder at night to help you remember your program.
We are very excited to give you access your sleep data history at any time! Just tap on the graph icon in the top right corner after completing at least one sleep journal.

After you complete your daily sleep journal, the Coach will now give you a summary of that night's data, so you can monitor your sleep. The Coach will also visually show your progress towards unlocking your sleep program.
Also, we've fixed some bugs for users who were seeing crashes in the last version. Sorry about that!

Coach Nova will now break your program down into more incremental steps and provide goal-based metrics!
Now, the Coach will unlock your sleep program and check in with you every 7 days (instead of 5 days), allowing for more accurate and fine-tuned adjustments to your sleep schedule.
When you unlock your sleep program, the Coach will also explain your program more clearly in relation to your sleep goals.
