Browse colors right from your phone. Once you’ve found a color, see how it looks in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or exterior space. Plus view similar and coordinating paint colors.

Looking for ideas? Use the homepage to scroll through popular colors and get recommendations based on the mood you want to set in your room.
COLOR MATCH
Color inspiration is all around you. Match paint colors to items from your space or anything else that inspires you. Simply take a picture or upload one from your camera roll to find the closest Home Depot paint color.
SEARCH
Already know the color you want? View it in the app by searching for the color name or number.
SAVE & PURCHASE
Colors you like can easily be saved to your favorites or shared with a friend via email, text or social media. Once you’ve decided, purchase through the app or use the app to find your nearest Home Depot store.

We need your help… In this release, we have added the ability to opt-in/out to share the images you upload to this feature to help improve our algorithm that applies paint to the walls in photographs more precisely.

DEEP LINKING: We’ve connected the Project Color and The Home Depot Apps. Now, when you tap “Buy Paint” from Project Color you will be directed to the product page in the Home Depot App (our best experience) if you have both apps installed on your phone.

SEE IT IN YOUR SPACE: We heard you! You want to preview colors in an image of your own room. We’ve created a new Beta version of a feature that will do just that. Find a color, snap a pic and then preview it on your wall.

Quick changes to squash a few more bugs and gather paint data more efficiently.
We heard you loud and clear. Were you sick of random crashes? So were we, and we aren’t even talking about our fender bender this morning.
We went ahead and made tweaks in the areas that needed it and Project Color is now even better... though our car is completely another story.
How about those who saw a blank screen after downloading the app? What does that even MEAN?! Whoopsie... Looks like that was because the app didn't have access to your camera or photos. Tricky thing is, the app needs that so it can paint your space! Don’t worry, we added a reminder into the app.
Lastly, because we are overachievers, we added in a few things to improve the look of your painted snapshots.
