Description
Use any old phone as a beautiful tally device.
This app turns any Android Phone into a graphically beautiful tally indicator for live production when using vMix. Unlike the web page interface built into vMix, this app gives you additional features:
- Choose the color to use for live, preview and safe.
- Add a giant clock to the tally display.
- Treat multiple inputs as one and tally them together.
- Automatically start the tally when the app starts.
Additionally, by using an app like Macro Droid, you can have this app automatically launch when the phone boots turning your phone into an unattended tally device.
I'm eager to help, so if you have any problems, my contact information is available in the app.
Also, if you like this app, please check out my other app: Unofficial vMix Remote Control.

Version History

App can now auto-launch directly to previously configured Tally page.
This is a major bugfix... previously, the app would crash whenever UTF-8 characters were used in the name of an input. It took me forever to figure out where the problem was, but we are all good now. The app should work reliably now regardless of your vMix input names!
New feature... Now you can combine multiple inputs into one tally. This is useful when you are using vMix's built-in PTZ settings as different inputs. Since vMix can have multiple virtual inputs connected to the same camera, it's helpful to combine those inputs into a single tally.
Fixed a bug where the app would fail to update if a new vMix preset was loaded after the app connected.
Bug fixes should make the app more stable. Also, vMix uses port 8099 for communications, so I have removed the port number option from the user interface.
