Only administrators that are set up on the Paychex Flex Time, Paychex Flex Time Essentials, or Stratustime products should download the Paychex Time Kiosk App. Users without the appropriate administrator credentials will be unable to access the app.
Please refer to your training materials for information on creating a new terminal and linking to the app.
The Paychex Time Kiosk app enables Paychex Flex® Time clients to turn an Android device into a working time clock for their employees to record their time and perform other self-service options. Employees can quickly punch in/out, punch for lunches and breaks, and perform job transfers, even when the device is in a location without an established cellular or Wi-Fi signal. Employers can grant employees access to enter pay adjustments, request time off, view their schedule, and view/approve their time card. Clients can enable an optional image-capture setting during the time of a punch.

Add support for Android SDK 33 to allow newer devices to utilize the Kiosk application. This includes some minor fixes around storage permissions now that they are handled directly by Android.
This release includes the ability to restrict users from adding pay adjustments if they do not have permission to do so. It also includes bug fixes.
Updated kiosk settings to allow labor level overrides to correctly apply. Enhanced logging to allow the kiosk terminal name to be included in audit trails. Several bug fixes are also included.

Added retry logic when login fails due to an expired authorization token.
Corrected issue requiring users to re-register their device when there is an issue with the token request.
Paychex Time kiosk now includes the option for users to utilize facial recognition technology to punch and perform other actions in Paychex Flex Time. The Paychex Time kiosk app uses 'liveliness' detection; this technology cannot be fooled by a still image or video call, and allows multiple templates to be associated to an individual user for increased accuracy during authentication.
Eliminates buddy punching on the kiosk, and provides the client with a less expensive, biometric option.
