- Hinge (MTCH) downloads growth accelerating to double digits – growing while dating app peers trending weaker
- Expedia (EXPE) turns positive, up to +40% YoY in the most recent week
- AliExpress (BABA) downloads exploding in 2Q, up over +100% in most recent week
- Lyft (LYFT) – Lyft downloads are reaccelerating in May, up to +16% year-over-year in the most recent week. Download growth ended 1Q strong and continues to trend positively in 2Q.
- DraftKings (DKNG) – DraftKings downloads picked back up in May, jumping to +33% in the most recent week. Growth could be driven by playoff sports, with the acceleration aligning with postseasons, and was also aided by a spike in downloads due to the Kentucky Derby. DraftKings looks to be outperforming peers in 2Q (Fanduel +16% YoY in May).
- Hinge (MTCH) – Hinge downloads are trending positively, up to +14% YoY in the most recent week. Downloads have accelerated in recent weeks, and are outperforming peers (both Tinder and Bumble seeing negative downloads in 2Q, with trends deteriorating).
- Expedia (EXPE) – Expedia app downloads jumped in May after a slow April – up to +40% YoY in the most recent week. VRBO downloads also flipped positive after trending negatively in 1Q.
- AliExpress (BABA) – AliExpress downloads have been on fire in 2Q – jumping up to +119% YoY in the latest week. Download growth has ramped throughout the quarter.
