Description

Auryn Ink (pronounced "orin") is the only true watercoloring app on iOs. It is a "no mess watercolor mobile studio" that creates authentic watercolor simulation. It allows for wet on wet, wet on dry and glazing effects. Based on the tilt of your device, colors run down the surface, bleed and spread out to create darker edges just like real watercolor.

Auryn Ink's features provide everything a watercolorist needs to create and share beautiful works of art on a mobile device. Now you can generate complete watercolor paintings with the touch of a finger or stylus anywhere, anytime!

It supports Apple Pencil and Adonit styluses and has been updated to make the most of iOs 9 features.

Key features:
• Wet on wet and wet on dry simulation
• Wet, dry and fixed layers to enable glazing effects.
• Ability to lift color with water
• 96 pre-defined bright, vibrant colors matching Windsor and Newton professional watercolor range.
• Control over water drying rate allowing for more wet painting time
• Two choices for water cell density for faster and slower results.
• Choice of six watercolor paper types.
• Ability to save a custom color pallet.
• Easy access to brush size, water amount, and amount of color on the brush.
• Ability to switch slider sides for left handed users.
• Gallery to save your paintings in their wet form to work on later.

Here are some of the recent reviews from Auryn Ink users

"This is a Bee-you-tee-full app. And it gets better and better. It's simple - I love it! It's simple to use, the colors are beautiful, it's easy to learn, and more. Thank you. Five Stars here! - Marezeedotes"

"What a fantastic product!! Easy to learn, very intuitive for a water colorist, lots of fun, quick and exciting results.....and all for the price of an energy bar. A beautiful, well thought out piece of application software for real users....you can tell I like it- BadMonet"

Version 1.6.1

Version 1.6.1 bug fixes and changes:

• Resolved an issue which caused the 1.6.0 version to crash on iOS versions older than 6.

Version 1.6.0 bug fixes and changes:

• Strokes can now extend beyond the left side and bottom edge of the canvas. Previously, a bug caused strokes near these boundaries to be cut-off unnaturally.

• Devices with 16:9 screens (iPhone 5) are now fully supported. Previously, the canvas and UI layout were incorrect on such devices.

• Slider 'Canvas > Shake' now properly controls the sensitivity to shaking/splattering effects. Previously, any attempt to move this slider cause its position to be maximized.

• Button 'File > Export to Album' now provides are error Alert Box if any problem occurs during export to the photo album. Previously, some newer iOS6 devices would fail silently during export if Auryn Ink lacked permission to save photos. Now, the Alert Box will provide instructions for how to grant Auryn Ink permission to do so via 'Settings > Privacy > Photos'

• Some cases which caused the watercolor simulation engine to pause -- as indicated by when the blue water bar stops moving while still wet (blue) -- have been fixed. Previously, some actions could cause this bar to become permanently stuck until the app is restarted.

• Rebuilt for iOS6.

★ ★ For Existing Customers ★ ★

If you encounter any problems, please delete the app and reinstall to fix the problem. Or email customerservice@auryn.com for a prompt solution.

Added the ability to:

★ Change the size of the painting canvas.
★ Change the quality of the watercolor simulation.
★ Perform a factory reset.

All of these features are accessed by pressing the 'Erase' button. The 'Resize Canvas' button provides the change to change size and quality options before erasing the canvas, whereas the 'Clear Canvas' button will just clear the canvas while retaining existing size and quality settings. Larger canvases, and higher quality settings are best enjoyed on newer iPad and iPhone devices.

The 'Factory Reset' button will both clear the canvas *and* revert all other settings to factory defaults. This may help users that find themselves stuck with a collection of settings that produce undesirable results. If you find that Auryn Ink starts behaving strangely and you're not sure how to get back to where you were, try a factory reset...
