WebSafety’s vision is to provide an open window through which concerned parents can monitor questionable and potentially harmful content or a direct predatory exchange occurring on their child’s mobile device.

By using WebSafety, personal, private, and confidential information from a device set to Child mode is transmitted off the device to WebSafety and made available for review by you, the parent, using your secure WebSafety account. This information includes all data accessed by this application, including : Apps Downloaded, SMS Messages, Websites Visited, Location of Device, and Social Media Posts.

Parents can browse text message history from children’s devices to be aware of message volume, content and frequent contacts. Utilizing the WebSafety dictionary, parents will be notified through alerts and on the dashboard when words or phrases of concern are used in text messages. Web browsing history can be viewed by parents to know what websites have been visited.

Version 2.0 of WebSafety is now 100% mobile only. The entire process is all done from the parent’s and child’s mobile devices. Parents can create an account using their e-mail address and a password and then set-up child devices using the same app, login, and password.
Through the parent’s device, a dashboard provides an overview of all alerts and activity on the child’s device across 6 major categories: Time, Location, Apps, Social Media, Texting, and Web Browsing.
