Whether you're in the mood for a hard-boiled detective story, a wild-west brawler, supernatural horrors, side-splitting comedy, or just want to get away from it all with a tale of adventure or spine-tingling suspense, Radiostasis has it all. These shows, recorded primarily in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s are from a time when the whole family would gather around the radio to listen to their favorite shows and radio personalities every day. Despite their age, the majority of the shows are just as funny, exciting, and relevant today as they were in decades past.
While all of the audio recordings available through Radiostasis are in the public domain and available for anyone to download and collect for free, Radiostasis will let you enjoy the golden age of radio even if you don't have the time or resources to compile and organize your own personal collection. With on-demand streaming, you'll have access to thousands of hours of vintage entertainment with minimal impact on your phone or tablet's storage.

Another bug fix release:
Fixed a bug that would cause playback to stop and your Up Next list to clear out prematurely if your device fell asleep with the screen off while playing.
Fixed a problem that would cause media buttons to stop working. Now you can pause, resume, and skip episodes from your fancy-pants smartwatch or Bluetooth headphones to your heart's content.

Fixed crash on startup for Android 4.4 KitKat devices. The developers have been punished severely for not catching this sooner (caffeine and snacks have been withheld).

Brand spanking new Chromecast support! Now you can enjoy your old time radio right on your TV or supported Chromecast Audio devices.
