This information includes feedback on the condition of each element of the home, from appliances to paint to landscaping more, and associated photos. The Knock HomePro app provides our network of agents with advanced scheduling, location and information-cataloging tools right at their fingertips, so that they can efficiently capture the data points the Knock LLEs need to quickly provide home sellers with their homes’ recommended list price, and pinpoint any home preparations that will help optimize the home’s market value.
Here is how the Knock Home Trade-in program works step-by-step, and where the Knock HomePro app fits in:
Step 1: Home seller submits their current home for pricing, and Knock’s algorithms generate an initial pricing report.
Step 2: Knock LLE conducts an initial phone consult, and then one of Knock’s network agents completes a 200-point in-home visit using the HomePro app.
Step 3: Knock LLE reviews the HomePro app report in real time, puts a final recommended list price on the home and outlines recommended improvements.
Step 4: Knock helps the customer get pre-approved for a new mortgage.
Step 5: Knock and its network of agents help customers finds their new home; then Knock buys it with cash and no contingencies.
Step 6: Customer moves into the new home.
Step 7: Knock completes home preparations, lists and sells their old home.
Step 8: Customer buys the new home back from Knock.
