It seeks to understand how well developers comprehend, utilize and maximize the revenue opportunities of different monetization options. So, here are a few highlights to whet your appetite:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Game developers increasingly agree that ads can improve player retention and do not detract from the user experience. This does vary by the game\u2019s genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image apptopia__blogu002du002dimg\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full apptopia__blog--img\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"427\" height=\"239\" src=\"https:\/\/apptopia.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/improve-retention-by-category.webp\" alt=\"improve retention by category\" class=\"wp-image-979\" srcset=\"https:\/\/apptopia.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/improve-retention-by-category.webp 427w, https:\/\/apptopia.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/improve-retention-by-category-300x168.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 427px) 100vw, 427px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Where\u2019s the best place to integrate ads within your game? 53% of developers say its in Ad Discovery. Users are presented with a customized button inviting them to discover new content. When they click on the button, they\u2019re taken to a full-screen ad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Rewarded video ads can increase in-app purchasing. When used in a hybrid approach, rewarded video is seen as highly complementary to driving increased in-app purchases by 56% of developers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image apptopia__blogu002du002dimg\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full apptopia__blog--img\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"425\" height=\"337\" src=\"https:\/\/apptopia.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bestin-appads-1.webp\" alt=\"bestin-appads-1\" class=\"wp-image-980\" srcset=\"https:\/\/apptopia.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bestin-appads-1.webp 425w, https:\/\/apptopia.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bestin-appads-1-300x238.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; It was found that more than 7 in 10 developers (71%) change and adapt their monetization models based on what they see works from other games.
